Hm.... Guess Its a Good Thing We Opted Out Of Calling Him Mephibosheth Habakkuk

We have been studying Courage as our character trait in our Konos studies. Our Bible study that we are doing is on the life of Paul. While studying Paul we are learning about several of the people who crossed his path. One of them being Barnabas. In children's church we have been learning about the patriarchs, learning how names have significant meanings. So I thought that it would be interesting to tell the boys about what the name Barnabas means. (Son of Encouragement)

I was doing something one night and Samuel was saying, "Great job, Mom." He kept saying it over and over. I told him that he was such an encourager that maybe we should have named him Barnabas. He said, "I like Samuel better. Besides, If my name was Barnabas, I wouldn't even know how to spell my own name!"

Hey Kelli,
Have your boys seen this?
http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/

I have it set as my homepage and knowing that your guys are space nuts like us, I thought of you all. :-)

Shhh... don't tell, but if I don't win the book, I will buy it. Have you started yours?

I haven't gotten it yet. We will probably fight over it when it comes.
I love NASA picture of the day!!! We should set it as our home page. Beats yahoo any day.

One reason that I love that website is the way that it causes me to worship. I never had an interest in space before my son became interested, but now, WOW...it points me to God and stirs my soul.

I also want to pass on this free audio book:

Put "MAR2009" in the special code section!

I am not completely through with it, but so far it has been extremely helpful and insightful.

I hope you get your Voddie book soon...I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it.
