I do not know who put this video together. I really think they did a good on it. This song came out when I was in the 7th grade. My history class did a unit study on it. I can still sing it and I still remember the events mentioned in it. My grandparents helped me with this assignment. Memories of them are worth their weight in gold. If you do not believe in the total depravity of mankind now, you will after watching.

That was so cool! I wonder what Coach Swann is up to now.
Funny. I have heard that song many times before, but never knew all the words. It's amazing how much history is packed into less than five minutes!
If I remember correctly, Billy Joel just sat down with some encyclopedias (you remember the old-timey PRINTED ones) and wrote this is under an hour. It would probably take me longer than that just to get the verse all rhymed out.
